    A month or two ago, Sony scheduled their Spider-Man reboot for July 3, 2012. Today, WB announced that Christopher Nolan’s third Batman film will be released on July 20, 2012. That’s three weeks later. So, two franchises that Danny Elfman was once a part of are in direct competition. I wonder who Danny is rooting for. And, you know, if these two series still used Elfman’s theme that would have been insane.

    Well, I think Danny might still be a possibility for MEN IN BLACK III.

    It’s funny. The only reason MIB 3 is getting made is because Sony needs a tentpole for 2011 after having moved Spidey to 2012.
