Guestlast thursday i went to a bryan adams concert and i got to go on stage and sing with him,the song “when your gone”, he was so surprised i did so well! it was about 3,000 people there! they went crazy! i was in the newspaper and everything, before i told him he was the reason i started playing guitar, he quickly had a stage crew member bring one out for me but i declined, becuz i’m not skilled enough. before i knew it he picked me up and spun me around and kissed me on the cheek. when i got off stage all these people were coming up to me and telling me how great i was. when i 1st got on stage he asked what i do,i said that i bus tables, at the end when he was so shocked, he told my parents in the auidence that if i keep up the great work, i won’t be busing tables for long. they gave me like 10 free t-shirts, each worth $30. it was crazy some girl actually wanted my autograph. at the end of the concert he said bye to me like 3 times. we blew kisses to each other back and forth. and when they left, he said into the mic “give it up for sasha, i wanna thank her for coming out tonight.” i was so happy! The funny thing was, i wasn’t nervous at all on stage. i feel so much closer to him now.
he couldn’t believe it that i am 14. we tried to get a tape of the concert but sadly we couldn’t do to some copyright crap. luckily, a lady nearby took pictures and they turned out really nice. i’m sending a letter and one of the pictures to him to get it autographed. my life is so good now : )August 16, 2004 at 9:19 am #51948Anonymous
GuestSounds great….
But am I the only person freaked out by Bryan Adams blowing kisses? ;o)
What is involved with ‘busing tables’?

GuestYes, I’m also a table ‘buser. I can’t help it. I often take a sledge hammer to its fragile wooden legs. Or I blowtorch it to a fine crisp. Don’t do it, people. Table ‘buse is an ugly thing…

GuestThe J . . . heehee . . .
I brought a gorgeous oak table my dad built out here to LA with me, and it rode out here next to my horse in a 2-horse trailer. It rained during the trip, and the table grew mold, or mildew, or something. It was tragic.
Let’s start up a Table Busers Anonymous group.

Guestthat’s awesome!
if you wanna do a collaboration, I’m a producer, I’m in the process of starting my own label, if you’re as good as you say, I won’t charge anything to lay down a few tracks…if you’re interested email me pneumasurreal@hotmail.com, so we can see what can be arranged. If you need to check with mom and dad first, they can email me with any questions. For a sample of my work (this one’s orchestral, but I do a little of everything, I’m fairly new to orchestration), check the other thread…
Either way tho, congratulations, and keep going at it. Ignore the people who say you can’t get anywhere with it; chances are, they aren’t living your dream, so what position are they in to give advice on how to get there?
later, and don’t forget to mail me if you wanna lay down some tracks
