I’ve heard this once or twice, might be totally unrelated aswell but the guy who pulls Heather out of the limo on the way to the interview is apparently Elfman’s nephew. I imagine Craven was high on Elfman’s list of directors, he later wrote some music for Scream 2.

The actor you’re thinking of is probably Bodhi Elfman, right — Richard’s son? He’s not only Jenna Elfman’s husband, but a reasonably famous guy in Hollywood now. He had a leading role as a rabbi in the Kiefer Sutherland series TOUCH — which was cancelled prematurely (pretty good show!).
