GuestI’m sorry to say this: the web site is great but having the backgound in black with dark fonts doesn’t help, almost imposible to read links.

GuestGood god, not again.

GuestI think we should go for pastel colors! Hee hee.
Kidding! Please just adjust the brightness and/or contrast on your screen.
I like the dark, too! Though I will throw in a vote for purple instead of blue.

GuestAre people viewing the site with the sun blasting in over their shoulders, or what? I’ve never had a problem reading the site — and I’ve been doing it for 6 years!
Of course, I’ve also been writing the site too…

Guestnah, man. i can see it just fine, too.

GuestNo problems here, and I have my contrast boosted and my brightness lowered

Dark dark purple would be cool, but I dunno if it is really fitting to Elfman…
Knight (Someone should ask Danny what his favorite colour is and we should go with that one, would you do it Ryan?)

Guestdeep purple, almost a plum shade would be neat…
blood red or pumkin orange…Danny seems like a cool color kinda dude, I don’t recall him ever wearing a lot of warm colors, I don’t think it would work with his skin tone. I’m pale too, and I look horrific in yellow or orange.
I’m going with green…if I had a guess I’d go with green. I have no idea why. It’s just a feeling. I think he’s a green. O_o

GuestRed. Not purple. Red. Scarlet, even, but NOT purple. (Please note that I’ve such an aversion to purple that if this site changes to such lettering, I’ll have to stop visiting).
-E (haha…yes, that was an idle threat. But really, please do not change it to purple, Ryan! Blue suits me just fine…)

GuestWhen I think purple, I think of the Joker, so that is my balance for that colour. If the site goes pink I think I would have a heart-attack. I am also pale and I think black always works the best

GuestI like purple because it reminds me of Lydia Deetz, and I used to want to be her very muchly so, back when I was a kid–or last week….depends on which voice is talking at the time, I suppose.
But this is odd….on my computer, the background is black, the letters are a light grey, and on the comment part in which I am typing, it’s the standard white background with black characters.
Don’t know where the blue is coming from at all–unless you’re talking the banner, or the names of the people commenting….

Guestto “E”…what’s wrong with purple???????
uhg, you got me right through my soul!!!!! why…don’t…you…like….purple?
why…why……. O_o
So maybe purple isn’t the color for a Danny site. Fine. I’m still going for him being a green.
Maybe we can compromise and go for green. Just for a small change. hmmm?

Guestone more thing…
Hey Knight…what if Danny said his favorite color was PINK? It could happen.
Penn Jillette of Penn and Teller says his fav color is pink. He has a really funny reasoning behind it, but I can’t remember the quote–something about being a really big guy (6’11”!) and having to have some sort of feminine side.
Just saying some dudes, even the straight ones,
like pink. heeheeJo Elfgirl (still purple)

GuestJ –
My aversion to purple? Not really sure where it came from, but I nearly always think of lavender (gag) when I think of purple. Even royal purple certainly isn’t my cup of tea. (I don’t really care for tea anyway; I’m a hardcore coffee addict). Maybe because I consider purple garish in any form; I don’t really know. I”m not saying that you can’t like purple, just that I personally despise it. It’s all a matter of opinion, no harm intended. (Hey, it’s not like I said “I hate Elfman!” LOL…) Yes, let it be known that I have an aversion to pink, purple and anything pastel. I also greatly dislike orange clothing, and yellow clothing for that matter.
Red, however, now *there’s* a hip color. Mmhm…scarlet, especially. Gotta love the description of the blood red room in “Masque of the Red Death.” In fact, I enjoy red so much that I put bright red streaks in my hair.
I wear fairly dark colors – scarlet, black or navy blue. I avoid light colors at all costs because otherwise I look like a ghost. In fact, Danny’s funny comment about being the sickly pale kid in the sun – that’s very close to how I look in summer. (Although truthfully, I”m more pink than pasty white. Now that I”m in the land of eternal sun, I’m constantly pink).

GuestPink is wrong in my little world….resembles the color of vomit, or something like it. I believe “saucy red” is the color you’re describing? Oh yes, the color of sauciness….

Guesthey E-
you say you’re pink? what shade?
I’m the pasty white one–I glow in the summer sun–I blind people with my awesome whiteness
technically I call my skin tone “mourge white.” I am definately paler than anything on the slab at the coroner’s office.

GuestPish! And what are you doing out in the summer sun? Just kidding–another pasty-white person says….(but the moon and winter and fall are far better than the summer and sun and such–at least in my opinion and all)!
