GuestThe release date for MFADT III is yet to be determined. Don’t hold your breath on it…unless you’re feeling suicidal.

GuestUniversal won’t tell us — snickering at our itching, near-lecherous anticipation. They think it’s funny.

GuestIs there really a point in releasing MFADT 3 so soon anyway ? I mean, sure, it’s already eight years since the number two was released. But practically everything that Danny did since then has found its way to an album edition.
The main interest of these Darkened Theaters are the previously unreleased materials they contain… like the TV themes or scores like Dead Presidents or Back to School which weren’t available until then.If MFADT 3 was to be released these days, it wouldn’t contain anything really new, except maybe a suite the Good Will Hunting score, and, if we’re lucky, some Callicut and Demon tracks (that die-hard fans like me have anyway, though in an awful quality).
So I say it’s not a bad thing to wait a little more. If MFADT3 is nothing but a compilation of Elfman soundtracks that we already have, then there’s no point for us to buy it.– Squeezir.

GuestI’m still looking forward to it. I like having CDs with several compositions as much as I like ones that focus on one soundtrack. I really hope it includes Little Demons and Jimmy Callicut. It may have to be a “large set”. 3 cds, perhaps?

I’m a cheapskate and CDs cost way too much to justify buying ALL of his soundtracks since MFADT II. But that’s me.
