Am I just incompetent or is anyone else in the LA area struggling to find somewhere to see The Corpse Bride this weekend?? I thought it was supposed to open here on the 16th but the nearest theater I can find that’s showing it is in Santa Monica . . . about a 45 minute drive south – no thanks. I really love the theater at CityWalk (and I’m usually there Fridays anyway for another engagement) so that would be nice, especially on the IMAX if possible, but according to moviefone it’s not playing there . . . or anywhere but Santa Monica . . . wtf?
Well all i know is its playing in santa monica, like you said, and the grove on 3rd and Fairfax! But what ive learned over the years is that sometimes movie phone doesnt post some theatres till the day the movie starts! Try calling movie phone at 12 midnight on friday morning. They may have more theatres posted then. Either that or you just may have to wait till the 23rd for more theatres to carry it.
Yeah, is there a list somewhere that displays what selected theaters Corpse Bride will be playing at?
