Aren’t those the same score?
I didn’t see anyone else smack you one, so I had to. I actually also like Horner, but he lacks the originality of other composers.
I don’t actually know who my #2 is. The only reason I claim Elfman as my #1 is because the top 5 CD’s in my collection are all his. Zimmer I like, but he some times also lacks originality and he frequently collaborates with other composers gets all the credit. Newton-Howard and Shaiman I respect highly. Morricone is FANTASTIC, as is Rota, but I don’t listen to their work all that frequently. John Williams is John Williams, enough said.
No number two for me.
