The existing album is ALMOST perfect. We’re missing the cue where Batman crashed through the window at the Museum to save Vicki Vale. We’re also missing the cue for when the Batwing first appears on screen. Add those two plus a remastering and you’ve reached perfection.
I just hope they would propose the film main titles as a bonus and not as the first track. I’m one of the few who largely prefer the album’s snare drums march…

As for the music box thingie, well it obviously sounds interesting. However, I fear it’s just a gathering of his Burton scores, which I already own (I could care less if they’re expanded). Hopefully, though, there will be some “gems” in there that we haven’t heard before. Let’s wait and see.
True. I also own most of the scores of Tim Burton’s films. I paid about $6 for Batman Returns and no it wasn’t a used CD, It was brand new from Sam Goody 11 years ago. Still the box set sounds interesting. It’s just temptation I guess.

Anyone know where this music on this site is from? Is it from the MOMA exhibit or is it something new?? I don’t recognize it.
Maybe I’m counting wrong, but is there not one more disc than times they’ve worked together? Will Batman be the 2 disc version then?
I wondered if the extra disc would be TV stuff, though The Jar is the only thing I can think of that they borth did together.
Will these be expanded scores? Surely they know the people who are going to want this will have most of his scores anyway, what’s our incentive?I picked up my copy of the Bat Man Score at Comic Con and they said that they are working on doing the same for Batman Returns. It will be coming soon to a La La Records near you. I’ll post some pictures and video soon.
