ParticipantHi!
I was wondering if any of you got one of those CDRW copies of Dolores Claiborne and if so, how is the sound quality?
I found a version available for download, but it’s in 128 Kbps and the quality of some tracks is not the greatest.

KeymasterI got mine long before the MP3 boom, so it sounds like a true CD copy. The music is worth it at any quality, however. “Nag, nag, nag”!

ParticipantI got the score at 192kbps which isn’t too terrible.

ParticipantOooh, chocothrax, do you think you could fix me up with a couple of tracks?
I’d give you a kidney for them.
I’d give you both kidneys for your album, ryan

ParticipantYea seriously dude. I downloaded the original album track by track and the quality is great. I burned the CD and its like lodged in my stereo. But theres promo tracks that I want, especially “Vera’s Death”. So yea…if you could hook it up with a few cues, that would be awesome!

ParticipantIs it legal for me to share them?

ParticipantIt’s not commercially released, so I don’t see why not.

KeymasterActually the album rights reside with Varese Sarabande. Just because something isn’t commercially released doesn’t make it free or available.

ParticipantThe quality of the unreleased score warrants illegal possession. Hopefully those mp3-dogs won’t come sniffin’ around my place anytime soon.
