December 8, 2004 at 2:17 am #52929KatieParticipantSweet, I’m going to the Grammys this year . . . Even better!
December 8, 2004 at 5:41 pm #52932AnonymousGuestHe deserves that Grammy.
December 14, 2004 at 6:51 am #52985AnonymousGuestI think the stiff competition will come from Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, rather than RTOK.
IMHO, the former two were actually a part of the movie(s) and served their purpose as movie soundtracks. I thought RTOK was not that impressive and at times just felt like fillers between the screaming and sword-clashing.
My two-cents’ worth.
December 15, 2004 at 6:35 pm #52997AnonymousGuestI think it’s nice to see not only Danny Elfman nominated, but also Jon Brion. Have you heard his soundtracks for “Punch Drunk Love”, “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind” and “I Heart Huckabees”? They are wonderful and truly original.
