Fun to see that this picture, like the previous one whose link was posted here by DannyBiker, concentrates on percussions…I know that we can’t deduce anything from so few informations, but I’m getting really curious with the orchestration for this score.
(Does any of you know if Elfman had to write some late-minute cues or arrangements, in order to fit the re-shoots of the sex scenes ?)Looks like a smaller orchestra.
Sam Taylor Johnson’s posting some photos. Looks like she was also at one of the concerts and took photos of some of his scores at his house. She seems like a big fan.
That’s nice to see a director so interested in filmmusic. I’m getting more and more impatient about this score.
The Weekend collaboration?
Tracklist for the soundtrack album has been announced. Danny has two tracks to close the album out. This one may be big $$ for the composer.

15) Danny Elfman: ‘Did That Hurt?’I’m confused : I like to see Elfman working on smaller films (in terms of budget) but it generally means no proper score release. Or wait for Varese or Lalaland to fill the void.
I imagine the score for something like this would sell substantially better than your typical score. Still holding out hope.

VERY surprising ! Impossible to make any kind of opinion with this of course…but it’s not at all what I (or, I think, any of us) expected

I had a hard time listening to it the first times, but I’m starting to like this tracks…Four days with the the Hollywood symphony orchestra remember. None of the fansites are reporting this (and they’ve reported every minute detail about the movie) and the head of music at Universal described Elfman’s approach as low-key.
I don’t think these are legit, even the times are kind of off. The uploader even stuck a Vevo banner on the video to try and pass it off as real. That doesn’t even sound like Beyonce on the album sampler?
