Apparently at Denver last night Elfman couldn’t stay because he was ‘saving’ a Summer movie. What could it be? Goosebumps was recently added to his IMDB page but that’s for October.
I doubt it was he who said he was ‘saving’ it btw.
I doubt it very much for Superman…First, it’s not a summer movie (it will be out next year) ; then, it’s a Zimmer score, already quite collaborative (as far as I know, he is co-composing it with his “pupil” Junkie XL), and I don’t really see what Elfman would do in such a musical universe…

Henry Jackman, who was set to score this, isn’t attached to this anymore according to FilmMusicReporter. Seems like Danny might really be doing this?

I loved Goosebumps as a kid, books and show. Can’t imagine this being very good but it’s always cool when Danny’s attached to something I have a connection to.
I’m working on the Sony Lot presently, and also saw that they are indeed on the scoring stage now. The schedule says that they will be there all week, through Friday May 8th.

Pity it isn’t complete and chronological. Really was hoping some label would reissue an expanded re-mastered cd version of “Nightbreed“. Who knows maybe some day.
