What I want to know is, who is elf to oppose dictatorship when he’s the one who supports censorship and political imprisonment and murder?
i couldnt be bothered to type a full arguement against an obviously patriotic american bullshitter.ohh and incidentally im not pretentious teenager who’s been brought up during the “self-esteem” movement and have been taught in school that you’re a unique, special person no matter what you think, and so your ideas are as good as anybody else’s whether you can back them up or not. so **** u.

elf’s posts neither need nor deserve any further comment. I have already demonstrated his irrationality, his hypocricy, and his neurotic paranoia more than adequately–or rather, he demonstrated all that himself, and I just egged him on into doing so even more clearly. Anyone who still thinks that anything elf has to say is worth hearing, deserves him.
I am just a little disappointed that this is the deepest the discussion gets around here when a political topic comes up. It really would have been nice if any of the anti-“Bushies” (or pro-“Bushies” for that matter) felt the need to prove their assertions and bothered to come up with an argument.
Oh well. I guess that’s too much to expect in today’s dumbed-down, irrational culture.

Yarg! This is more than a bit out of control….
Um, basically everyone is entitled to his or her own opinions–and, if they have very strong opinions, they have to figure that everyone else does too. So, anything that anyone says is pretty much irrelevant, because while you’re free to state your own opinion, it’s not like you’re gonna convince anyone else to change theirs. (Politics! Blah)!

Wow, Since we’re on the topic of U.S. Policy. Doesn’t it piss you off that George Bush wants to take away our first amendment rights. Starting with the removal of Howard Stern from all Clear Channel radio stations. He wasn’tt taken off the air for being indecent as they claim. It was because Howard started to speak out against Bush.
Wake up folks! Our rights are being taken away, right here, right now, in the good óld U.S. of A. It’s not just those poor bastards over there in Iraq.
Anyway….Back to the original post… Which (if you can remember that far back) was from a person from Japan saying hello, not fighting over political views.
Welcome Yun. Wow! Have you not ever seen The Nightmare Before Christmas? If not, you will really like it. It is my favorite movie. It took the place of Edward Scissorhands. I am jealous that you will be able to see the Haunted Mansion. I haven’t seen it yet. You will have to let us know what you think about it (provided you actually come back here). BTW, your English is not bad at all. Good job. I commend you for being able to read and write English. It is a very difficult language to grasp. I hope you do come back to the website. As you can tell by the previous posts, there is a lot of anxiety here about the terror “thing” still, but hopefully they will keep it out of this website and take it “outside”.
