    Probably because that’s now what Elfman originally intended for the main titles? :)

    Ha! Really, wasn’t that in the movie? I somehow remember the main titles ending in the Fiedel theme, but perhaps that was the end titles instead.

    No, that WAS in the movie, but was in the movie was not Elfman’s title. There’s a large chunk cut, and then Elfman’s cue is truncated again to shoe-horn in the Fiedel bit. If Elfman is putting together an album of his score, why would he even include that? The answer: he wouldn’t!

    That’s what I was thinking. Might as well keep your own music in your soundtrack. Though it was fun hearing Danny’s instrumentation on the old Terminator theme.
