If it weren’t for Tim Burton to ask Danny to come back, i’m not sure if he’d get much work at all in Hollywood. He may have only scored a few films now and then and not have as many films if Tim did not ask him back.

Or maybe he’s just too busy working on Burton’s movies to score other movies.

I highly doubt Danny Elfman has a hard time getting work. That’s funny, man.

IMDb calls him “Hollywood’s hottest composer.” Plus Tim Burton isn’t the only director Danny works with. Brett Ratner, Gus Van Sant, (formerly) Sam Raimi. He’d make it on his own for sure. He’s already been snatched for two films for directors he’s never worked with before!
