GuestI was wondering how old everybody here was because it would be interesting to see the age range of Danny’s fans, and if maybe his music reached out to people of all ages. Or somethin.
I’ll be 18 on the 22nd of this month.

Guest36 is not old! Old is 78 or at the very least 65. Besides, you’re lucky to have been a fan all this time. I wish I was 36. Maybe then I could’ve seen Boingo in concert. *sob* But I’m only 21 and never had the chance to experience such joy.

28? Man-O-Man how time just gets away from you.
I forgot I was that old – 21 seems just like a year or two ago. Thanks for bringing me down Sleepy.

P.S. I make sure everybody around me knows who he is (if you know what I mean).

GuestMyself at 30 years old ,was lucky to see Oingo Boingo play in the Boingo format a few years ago . They rarely toured the Wisconsin area, so I was very lucky to see them live. It was right after the Boingo Cd was released and the show was not very crowded at all. Best show I’ve ever seen. “Reunion” please

GuestI’m twenty-five–I’ve liked Danny’s scores since I was eleven, and Boingo since I was nineteen. I’ve yet to meet another person in the flesh who likes the boy–their loss!

GuestMy birthday is on August, that means I’m still 29… right?

Have been collecting Elfman scores since POTA (it’s really hard to find Spy Kids, still haven’t received my Heartbreakers
, and where’s Hulk!!)… all those years, what a waste not knowing film scores…July 2, 2003 at 7:17 am #45808Anonymous

Guest20, my best friend and fellow elf-freak is 22, my ex-girlfriend who knew of Elfman (only edward though) is also 20, and the other people I have gotten into Elfman are these ages: 14, 33, 18, 26, 68, and two 23 year olds (my sister and her boyfriend). Well, now you have are ages and location, so all we need is the sex hehehe.

GuestIt’s strange how I got to liking Elfman. My whole life I’ve really enjoyed his music when I heard it watching movie, and I could always tell an Elfman score when I heard one, but I never actually listened to his stuff by itself or collected it. One day, however, I was in a Sam Goody, and I saw the POTA soundtrack. I figured “hey, what the heck!” and got it. Ever since that day, I’ve been a die-hard fan and collector. I don’t much listen to Boingo.

GuestI’m 24, and was a so-so fan (since 98) until Spring 02. Then I went nuts, scared my friends, then slowly converted them… 24, 23, 24, 31 and got my ex-roomie (23) and her ex( 22) started with Capitalism and Insanity over the internet states away. I’m proud of myself. Everyone loves Insanity. My best friend and I love Elevator Man “won’t you let me be your daddy, come sit here on my knee…!” She also likes Wild Sex (in the working class.) I need to find her a boyfriend…. But I digress…

I feel really bad cus back in Jr. high my then best friend was a Danny score fan. I don’t think she made the Boingo connection, she really wasn’t a music buff when it came to 80s things. I remember her telling me that the guy that got the grammy for Batman was the singing skeleton I adored so much. (Even if the whole movie freaked me out back then) If I had only known 10 years ago… oh the madness I could’ve caused before they retired!
oh well, better late than never… Jo Elfgirl

GuestI’m 38. We used to sing “Only a Lad” and other Oingo Boingo music w/ wayout lyrics at the lunch table in HS. Oingo Boingo was well received in SLC, and would come back twice a year and play at the fair grounds. After Pee Wee was a hit we felt cutting edge in our Elfman fanship.
