Personally, I would have liked to see Jon Brion added to the mix. I think it would have been a fresh move to see “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind” nominated. I don’t expect that it would have won, but I love that soundtrack.
Also, Michael Giacchino’s “The Incredibles” was (he puts on his Gene Shalit moustache) ‘incredible’. Another favorite that was overlooked.
