Can’t wait to hear it!
Nice that this is confirmed straight from del Toro’s mouth. I’ve said tis before, but i really am psyched for this. He and Danny have such similar sensibilities, and Hellboy seems like a great outlet for Danny’s style. I really enjoyed the first movie but it’s score was only decent, so I can’t wait to hear what’s coming. Plus, I’ll be living in Southern California by the time the score is recorded… maybe I can get remotely close to the studio!
Here they come. I promised myself I wouldn’t do it, but it can’t be helped. The tears of JOY are streaming down my face. I cannot wait for this.
Hellboy isn’t my cup of tea. Pan’s Labyrinth is. Hopefully they’ll collaborate on something like that in the future.
I find myself quite shocked. Although Danny Elfman is one my top five favorite composers, Marco Beltrami is also one of them! I dont understand why Del Toro choose not to work again with Marco since the first Hellboy score was so successful. Anyway Danny Elfman score will totally rock Im sure and I hope he´ll use Marco´s original theme,
