I seem to recall something similar released probably around 1999/2000 that was supposedly a silver pressed Russian release that contained all the tracks from the Academy promo for Good Will Hunting, the Black Beauty original CD, and the Scrooged suite from MFADT1 tacked on the end.

This however is not that CD as it says its the 10th Anniversary of Good Will Hunting, which would put it at 2008 or so.

    Definitely definitely a bootleg though.

Anyone know where this music on this site is from? Is it from the MOMA exhibit or is it something new?? I don’t recognize it.

La-La Land Records just announced on Facebook their upcoming releases are Batman 2-CD set (5000 copies), Krull 2-CD set (3000 copies), and Predators.

CDs go on sale July 27th at noon (PST) at their website.

Sooo…. is this the big announcement?

I’ve had that Red Planet Records bootleg CD for years. does anyone else have that? I got it on ebay a long time ago. its a silver-pressed CD, not CD-R.

but anyway, this release has unreleased alternate cues.

i wonder if that main title orch demo is just danny and his synthesizers.

    I’m looking forward to this.

My copy of the CD is already on its way from Amazon, but it looks like iTunes has two bonus tracks “Anita’s Theme” and “Main Titles Sax Solo”

EDIT: Blast it. Never mind. I guess the “bonus tracks” are on the CD anyway. Why the hell are they listed as “bonus tracks”? I don’t understand the world anymore.

its so funny that you would bring it up.

eisley is one of my favorite bands. i have seen them five times in five different cities since they toured with coldplay in 2003 (i met them after their show and have the picture framed in my bedroom).

i’ve been following their progress on the new album for the last year through their website’s journals. their manager (aka their father) had never heard of oingo boingo until richard gibbs was signed on to be their producer.

i don’t have any of richard’s score albums, as the movies he has scored have been fairly boring–no fault of his necessarily–but it was quite a left field choice to produce their album.

“many funerals” and “a sight to behold” are instantly likable (on eisley’s new album) and the title track and “taking control” are growing on me.

I had no idea Dick Tracy was available on vinyl…. That will be a hard find.

Around 1989/90, vinyl more or less fazed out, but there is a still a fairly large market.
