I just listened to it…It’s fantastic. Elfman creates something completly new, while using technics he alreaddy used in some of his precedent works. Every track creates a particular and strong mood, the instrumentation is quite exciting…
Well, maybe i’ll sound totally non objective, but for me, it’s just perfect.

I never saw the movie, so do you know what where the Oingo Boingo songs used in it ? According to what I know, none was written specially for the movie.

I haven’t seen this movie, but I think the score works very well on cd : quite surprisingly, this cd release is pretty good (long enough, with a good sound quality).
I wonder if the exclusive use of synthes is an artistic choice, or an economic necessity…

I didn’t hear about any release of this score, do you know anything about this ? It would be strange not to release it, as both Elfman and Van Sant are quite popular…
