Apparently, they need to downsize the orchestra…not really sure why it’ll take 8 months to do it, unless there was a scheduling problem on top of it.

My friend Matt got me a ticket for D23, and we went to this. Seeing Danny receive his award was wonderful, and he was funny and humble and charming as usual. It was great!
IT. WAS. AWESOME! I went into a little more detail elsewhere, but suffice it to say…unforgettable! Wonderful! One of the best concert experiences ever! (I had to go both nights, could not NOT be there.)
I made it a point to be at the Hollywood (Halloween) Bowl both nights. The first night, so unexpected! It was absolute pandemonium! The second night, things went much more smoothly, and Danny and Steve were both much more relaxed. I asked Steve if Danny was as jazzed about doing DMP as he looked, and he said they both were! Aww…it was SO much fun, both nights. John Mauceri said on Twitter that the Bowl is on this year’s agenda again. Cannot WAIT.
