He’ll score both.
June 18, 2011 at 9:57 am #67033TorqueParticipantSo he confirmed MIIIB, The Hunger Games and new Sam Raimi film (Oz). Pretty tight spring considering that three movies will come out in May.
June 18, 2011 at 6:46 pm #67034bookbinder3ParticipantI love that he doesn’t want someone else to do MIIIB. I love that attitude. “My trilogy, mine”.
This looks like it’s going to be an amazing next few years. These aren’t small scale films. And singing in Frankenweenie and Oz sounds good.July 23, 2011 at 2:40 pm #67091ddddeeeeParticipantSeptember 22, 2011 at 4:46 pm #67195October 4, 2011 at 8:09 pm #67228October 5, 2011 at 6:04 am #67230DannyBikerParticipantCan’t see the vid…regional restriction…so un-2011.
I like the “smaller” feel they intend to put into this. But we’ll see if it holds…
October 6, 2011 at 1:48 pm #67233ThorParticipantSame here. Regional restrictions….

March 14, 2012 at 12:14 pm #67409Ryan KeaveneyKeymasterA friend of mine saw the pic last night and said it was “refreshing and entertaining” and “a real Tim Burton-esque whack-a-doodle of a movie.”!
He also said the film was temped with THE FRIGHTENERS, SUPER 8, the original Bob Cobert TV scores and WATERHORSE: LEGEND OF THE DEEP.
March 14, 2012 at 5:15 pm #67411ddddeeeeParticipantExciting.
Trailer tomorrow.
March 15, 2012 at 9:47 pm #67412ddddeeeeParticipantI’ve seen the trailer in LQ, the HQ debuts tonight. And WB are marketing it as a comedy. There looks to be a fair bit of gothic melodrama in the 1700’s but the rest seems to be played for laughs. I’m sure it’s not entirely indicative of the whole movie but it definitely seems more Addams Family than Sleepy Hollow.
March 15, 2012 at 10:22 pm #67413moongirl84ParticipantI saw the trailer on the Ellen show. Even though I’ve never watched the “Dark Shadows” series, I thought the film would be more of a drama than a comedy. Plus I don’t know if I should see the movie if I’ve never watched the TV show.
March 16, 2012 at 1:01 am #67414moongirl84ParticipantHere’s the HD trailer. http://youtu.be/isjg9O7ifwM

March 18, 2012 at 12:56 pm #67419ddddeeeeParticipantAccording to Amazon the score will be released on the 8th of May,
March 18, 2012 at 2:34 pm #67420AnonymousInactiveMusic in trailer?
March 18, 2012 at 5:22 pm #67421Ryan KeaveneyKeymasterBeyond the handful of songs, the only cue that sounds familiar are a few seconds of strings after the Warner Bros. logo and that is definitely by Brian Tyler.
