At the Ubeda Film Music Conference, Michael Giacchino was asked about UP being a digital-only release, and this is what Michael had to say (albeit paraphrased): “Disney has gone that road and I had the dubious honor of being the first one.”

The trailer says soundtrack on Walt Disney Records. We’ll have to wait until 3/10 to find out what that means!

I had my doubts before, but this looks like a stunning movie. I also love how trailers for Tim Burton films always manage to have some Elfman music in them

If that is Elfman then it’s from demos because I don’t believe they’ve recorded yet. Then again it might be library music…
Wow, seriously? It sounds to me like somebody else doing Elfman, maybe some library music. I expect much better than that from the man himself.
