ParticipantI LOVE this interview!
Was surprised how in depth it got
Well I am truly blessed I had 7 amazing weeks in NYC which I went to all MoMA Burton related events.
Thinking that this would be my one and only chance now it is coming to Australia and Burton is attending the opening so I am gathering some friends to go in Melbourne this year!!Woo – Hoo!!!
Any LA people around for Alice in early March?
I am in LA now and about to leave for Australia soon but I am travelling back to LA in late Feb early March,
would be great to meet & share some of the Elfman Alice in Wonderland love next time in town.detbat
ParticipantAwesome!! Brings me right back to MoMA!! The music from 1:52 – 3:28 (lounge music) plays just outside that Theatre in the interview all the time. It felt amazing everytime I saw a Burton film (or Omega Man or Burton Influences) and then walked through that foyer (with some of the exhibit on display) playing that cool retro, funky Elfman track on a loop!!
Thanks for sharing!!

ParticipantOMG!! Had the best night last night!! I thought I’d have to share.
I have travelled from Sydney Australia just to be exactly were I was last night!
Tim Burton Tribute Party at the MOMA!!!I still can’t believe that it all happened.
I got to chat to Danny DeVito which was awesome. Elfman was there but didnt get a chance to chat : (
Thats twice now (Disney Concert Hall) where Elfman has been in the same building as me and that alone floats my boat!! = )To give an impression of the vibe it was kind of like Batman Returns Max Shrek”s Annual “Max-erade” ball
Depp + Helena also were there!!!

ParticipantRE: Coraline
I have only listened to it a few times, but YES I have really enjoyed listening to it.
It really struck me whilst watching the film itself. The Main Titles are great.
I just got back from seeing A Serious Man and 1. Wow what another great movie from the C. Bros &
2. Bless them both, the sound designer & Carter Burwell for great use of soundtrack to provide sparse music aural landscape. Silence is plentiful but to great effect. As tis the simple but emotional scoredetbat
Participanta few more adds to my collection as I continue to drive around New England:
