SNOW!!! There is snow in the movie! And you know what that means!
TIM BURTON + SNOW + DANNY ELFMAN = Some of Danny’s best work not to mention Tim’s!
Arguably their best work had snow in it! Batman Returns, Edward Scissorhands, and Nightmare Before Christmas! I CANNOT WAIT ANY LONGER!Too many to post but heres my top ten(in no particular order):
1. Batman Returns – DANNY ELFMAN

3. Hook – JOHN WILLIAMS
4. Star Wars Episode III Revenge of the Sith – JOHN WILLIAMS
5. Giant Robo Episode 2 – MASAMICHI AMANO
6. Majou no takyu bin(Kiki’s Delievery Service) – JOE HISAISHI
7. Nightmare Before Christmas – DANNY ELFMAN
8. Back to the Future – ALAN SILVESTRY
9. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory – DANNY ELFMAN
10. Corpse Bride – DANNY ELFMANYes, i went out on a limb and declared that, without hearing them yet, Danny’s next two will be great and will be among my favs.

Even more so than that spot is a commercial for the Yellow Pages that uses music SO heavily influenced by Elfman that i thought it was a spot for Charlie and the Chocolate factory! Its THAT Elfman-esque!
Shit! There better be a CD release of that! If there is no way we could listen to that i will kill myself! Do they usually do CD releases of concert hall stuff?
Its kinda short but cool! I wonder how much he gets paid to lay down these tv themes! Sounds like he knocks them out in a day! He must be getting paid a lot for his talents on these tv shows!
You gotta be fucking kidding me! It doesnt even make sense to sell Returns separate from the first and and packed with the last two! In fact they should sell the first and tghe last two separately! But you know, im sure they will sell all of them separately anyway! Thats the logical answer!
I think its ok as long as the scores these guys write sound like scores! I remember seeing that movie about the jesus markings staring Patricia Arquet( the name escapes me at the moment) and resident evil which were scored by Billy Corgan and i believe Marilyn Manson and both scores had all these guitars and shit and sounded like some shit they would play on stage with their bands and it was just so annoying! so if these guys get there shit together and write an actual SCORE they will be ok! But they will never touch randy Newman and will never, EVER get anywhere near Danny Elfman! Also i beleive Batman was released in 1989!
It was HELL waiting for sony to release those Spiderman scores! Glad to see the score coming out before the movie the way it should be! I CANNOT WAIT FOR THIS ONE! Any body shitting their pants the way i am over the wait to hear how great the corpse bride score will be?
Im not particularly excited about Charlottes web and id have to see pics from the other movie to make an accurate jugement on it but i am happy Elfman will be doing these fantasy-type projects! His work recently has been kinda serious and he was at his best when he did the more whimsical type of movies! And as we can see he is getting back to that! THIS IS THE SECOND COMING OF ELFMAN and we should all feel lucky to be living in this day and age! I believe Elfman will make these movies watchable!
I was just thinking the other day how i wish they would hurry up and make special editions of at least the first two Batman movies(I dont really care what they do with the last two)! So i REALLY hope this rumor is true! The specs seem like it would belong to a real DVD though the Jack Nicholson commentary sounds a bit iffy! These specs sound like a kick ass DVD! And whos this fuck Jett talking down about Batman Returns! That was a great film! Its one of Burtons more Burtony films! I HOPE THIS IS TRUE!
