ParticipantMy mom and sister heard the show, I didn’t. Apparently, he confirmed he wasn’t doing Spider-man 3, touched on the Burton/Elfman feud, and said he (and one of his daughters) liked listening to Gilbert and Sullivan (while getting ideas for “Nightmare”), which is a plus, since I’m a G&S junkie and performer.

ParticipantI will be very distressed if they are iTunes exclusives……very distressed indeed (I haven’t heard anything like that…..but I remember the exclusives for ‘Charlie’)! The ‘Charlie’ tracks didn’t sound too great to me……but the 4 tracks at the end of that listing sound really good. Maybe they’re all hidden tracks…..
One thing to note: the editorial review on Amazon.com says this about the last 4 tracks:“But it’s on the last four tracks, credited to Bonejangles and His Bone Boys, that Elfman finally sounds as if he’s having fun, letting loose with casual New Orleans-style jazz”
Amazon.com has
“Barkis’s Bummer”
“The Finale”
“End Credits Part 1”
“End Credits Part 2”
As the last four tracks…..but
“Ball & Socket Lounge Music (#1 Band Version)”
“Remains Of The Day (Combo Lounge Version)”
“Ball & Socket Lounge Music (#2 Band Version)”
“Ball & Socket Lounge Music (#1 Combo Version)”Sound more like they would be credited to Bonejangles and His Bone Boys than the other tracks (“Barkis’s Bumer….etc.)
Now, I’m not saying Amazon.com is the oracle for all unreleased CD information…..but I’m just merely posting my CD speculation.KWashi
ParticipantI hope they use the same themes for Spider-Man 3. Without the Elfman theme opening the movie and the villian theme being interwoven in the main titles……it just won’t be the same movie….. but Elfman has better things to do than Spider-Man in my opinion.

ParticipantElfman better have a commentary. As far as I am concerned, this was his best score, and if he doesn’t have a commentary on it, someone’s gonna go beserk.
Of course, I don’t see one…..so it’s already starting >:^OKWashi
ParticipantElfman needs to pirate his own music, hahahaha!
I would if I were a composer……ok, maybe not.
On a side note: TMBG is a wonderful band. Right on! (right on!) right on, right on (right on!) RIGHT ON! right on!KWashi
ParticipantIt took me Best Buy, Walmart, and finally Mediaplay (only place that had it) to get it. When I asked at Best Buy, they said it would be there in the next few days. I couldn’t wait that long, and I hope you don’t have to!
I’m sorry about that!! I hate it when stores don’t carry what they’re suppose to!
I hope you can find it!KWashi
ParticipantYou’re……my…bestest friend!!!!!!…..atleast for the next five minutes…..

ParticipantThere’s certain spots of music I always get chills, and “The Grand Finale” is no exception…..but I do’t think music has ever brought tears to my eyes….except for maybe They Might be Giants’ “Purple Toupee”.
(That was a joke)KWashi
ParticipantOops, sorry about that.
Ugh! I wanted to see that!…..oh well

ParticipantI can’t remember which track on Beetlejuice it is, but I’m almost certain I heard a guy sneeze or drop his music or something.

ParticipantI always thought “Descent into Mystery” from Batman was in Latin. Janet Halfyard mentions in “Danny Elfman’s Batman” that the Latin phrase “In sancto” are repeated throughout the chorus, but she says (most) everything else is indistinct.
There’s also a backwards message in Edward Scissorhands……..j/k.- AuthorPosts
