yes! I’m totally getting in the mood… Deadman’s Party, No One Lives Forever, This is Halloween, etc… and other non-Halloween related Boingo or Elfman tunes, too…
This reviewer has a very closed mind and doesn’t understand the music genius when he hears it… he’s not worth the time of day or energy. Idiot!
I have a feeling that Danny isn’t too big on getting recognized as much as the love of the work that he does… but I don’t know him, so I can’t speak for him…
I guess I’m still kicking myself for not going to that last show… I had the ticket, but got sick… but I still shoulda gone…
I understand what you guys are saying… not necessarily new material… just a time to play together again…
Has anyone seen “Deadman’s Party”… the Boingo-dedicated band that often plays at the Knitting Factory in Hollywood?
I agree, Boingo did go out on top… that last album was a great way to end it.
Saw it opening night in Rochester, MN… I had my doubts that Depp wouldn’t be able to pull this off and he’s my all-time favorite actor way back from Jump Street days… he proved me wrong…
Elfman on the other hand… I didn’t expect anything less than amazing. He out-did himself… the revamp of the Oompa Loompa “lesson” songs were fantabulous!! Nice spin, but it made me really miss Boingo… big time… I think this’ll be one soundtrack that I’ll buy.
oh, btw, THANX, DANNY, FOR PUTTING THAT “WILLY WONKA” EARWORM INTO OUR HEADS FOR REPEATED PLEASURE… agh!! it’s great, though, really… haha!
