i tired to put it in a generic shared folder aswell however i cant get it to work. if anyone wants to hear it its the first piece playing on my myspace music page in the standalone player, it plays automatically so there shouldn’t be any problems

T’is a shame as there is a marked difference in the performances for the film and the album. i personally prefer the film version aswell…im glad im not the only one who’s noticed it lol

Hey, im currently writting a Danny Elfman Medley for full film orchestra using sibelius 1.4 its quite hard work but its quite rewarding. once ive got a good way through ill post my medley

p.s im writting an arrangement of the spiderman theme for orchestra atm…what ive completed so far is on the members creations area in the discussion forum of Cerulean Pictures. theres also alot of other great arrangements of danny elfman pieces and other film scores

its probably because its on university webspace thats the problem because its considered that the uni is breaking the law with copyrighted material rather than a single persons non profit arrangements. i probably states in ur user agreement somewhere that u cant use uni services for commercial use and if they got a snotty letter from someone saying that their is “copyrighted material” being “published” on their network it becomes their problem and the uni could be sued big time lol. the problem would be solved if you posted it one a site such as cerulean pictures as it is assumed that it is a personal site made for non profit purposes. as already stated post it somewhere as a midi and let everyone print it off themselves….love the arrangement by the way

i think you’ll be hard pushed to find the score’s for them. You can buy the nightmare before christmas piano book which has all the songs from the film, which you can buy from any good printed music retailer. but other than im afraid i have no idea. if you would like the edward scissor hands score im afraid you may have to arrange it yourself. if you go to http://www.cerulean-pictures.com/ there is a piece on there arranged for piano…this may aid you in you arranging. sorry i cant be much more help than that

OH MY GOD! PURE ELFMAN! wacky, zaney combination of early and newer styles, reminisent of mars attacks which the female voice at the beginning….it seem like beetleguise through to spiderman 2 and everything in between! WOW!

I think you’l find Danny Elfman did write The Simpsons Theme and Alf Clausen writes the underscore and songs for the actual episodes.

to be fair its the folk tale which to my knowledge is weigh over a hundred years old, so its hardly new news is it? therefore its not giving the movie away since the movie is only based around that idea.

ive been keeping an eye on the goings on with the upcoming game and as far as im aware Danny isn’t doing the score for it.
its almost ready for release i believe and there has been no news of Dannys involvement so far, its a shame. oh well we can but hopeta ta
