ParticipantYes, they are created by fellow member Danny Biker. He used music that “leaked” from the recording sessions before Sam Raimi foolishly eliminated his music. Really, the complete recording sessions makes for a wonderful listening experience.
Nick Parker
ParticipantIndeed on both of your points.

ParticipantAnd there I concur with you. High-schoolers unite!
Nick Parker
ParticipantYes, please do so and think about what you did.
(Currently listening to “Dragon Roost Island”)

ParticipantIf only he did a cannonball immediately after the speech….

ParticipantI honestly like the Spider-Man scores (especially the second one) more than the Batman scores. And the complete rejected score from Danny Elfman is absolutely superb, and why someone would want other music eludes my comprehension. Also, I would like to commend member Danny Biker for his excellent YouTube.com videos regarding the Spider-Man 2 score.

ParticipantIt really is interesting to see how much of an impact one man has made on our lives, and we never even met him (well, perhaps one of us did, but let us not get into technicalities here)….
(Currently listening to “Jazz Autographs”)
Nick Parker
ParticipantOh, I am so excited for that. I hope it fares better than “Little Demons”…..
Nick Parker
ParticipantThe last thing people wanted to hear was Batman Forever-esque music
Finally, someone agrees with me! Even before I became interested in film scores, I remember watching the opening credits in the theater, thinking, “Hey, that sounds like ‘Batman Forever'” (:24-:26 of the Main Titles, to be specific).
Nick Parker
ParticipantHm, if what you said is true, then I extend some sympathies to Sam Raimi for his troubled production. I still hate that film, though.
Nick Parker
ParticipantI was watching Barney when they disbanded!
Nick Parker
ParticipantWow, Mali is gorgeous! And I love that close-up photo of Danny’s odd smile!
Nick Parker
ParticipantI always liked the Tobey Maguire comment on “Spider-Man 2”. He says something along the lines of, “I love the music, it makes you feel the emotion, but it is never distracting….” What made it funny to me was that he was talking over a tracked piece of music!
Nick Parker
ParticipantOh wait, I was not alive for Oingo Boingo….
You weren’t alive in 1995?
Well, I was. but how many two-years-old knew what Oingo Boingo was?
Nick Parker
ParticipantI do not know, I would have loved for Danny to perform a song like Rahman did…. Bringing back Oingo Boingo, baby! Oh wait, I was not alive for Oingo Boingo….
Nick Parker
ParticipantI like the second one and the ones with him wielding a bag the most.
Nick Parker
ParticipantHm, I have yet to listen to that score. Apparently, if I love Serenada Schizophrana, I will love Standard Operating Procedure. Is that true?
Nick Parker
ParticipantExcellent.
Nick Parker
ParticipantMm, I am not too sure about the film itself, but here is hoping that Bekmambetov that remembers “Wanted” and “9” when it comes time to choose the composer….
Nick Parker
ParticipantI am quite exicted for his Houdini musical, actually. And I would love to hear Danny Elfman score a “medieval film”!
Nick Parker
ParticipantI would consider that to be a good thing.
Nick Parker
ParticipantI can see what you are saying, but I disagree with you. Just to make things easier, I will state my opinions right here: I hate Christopher Young’s music, and there is not a single cue of his that I have heard that I associated with the word “good”. The opposite would probably describe my feelings toward Elliot Goldenthal. I tend to like his music very much, though I do not buy his albums or even consider him a favorite. “Batman Forever” is not that great, though I will unabashedly say that I love “Two Face Three Step”. The best thing to come from that film, period. In fact, I think I will listen to it right now….
Nick Parker
ParticipantBut the difference is that Elliot Goldenthal produced a respectable score (especially considering what he had to work with) that did not stray too far from Elfman’s work.
Nick Parker
ParticipantAlle he needs now is a crown….
