Shockingly, Monsterhead, release dates for albums change.

Yeah the score was more prominent, and I even picked out stuff I had never noticed before, like the Mayor’s motif… Which coincidentally was highlighted in the latest Film Score Monthly podcast!

It’s unfortunate that there will be a Tim Burton film without a new Elfman score, there really is no opportunity on SWEENEY TODD for Danny to contribute. It’s really a wall-to-wall musical.

I’m confused… “This Is Halloween” and “The Scheming Song” (Aka “Kidnap The Sandy Claws”) are part of the regular NIGHTMARE re-release soundtrack. How are they bonuses?
On another note, it’s irked me that all of the demos are not making the re-release CD.

Last night’s Leno always airs the next night on the Canadian station Star (think E! north of the border). I’ll tape the show and try to get it on YouTube the next day.

This was posted to the board before the msgs all went missing. The film is directed by Peter Berg (THE RUNDOWN) and stars Jamie Foxx and Jen Garner. The news was broken by Film Score Monthly in their current issue, which contains an interview with Danny Elfman plus two reviews of SERENADA SCHIZOPHRANA.

Everytime the server this site resides on hits a hiccup the new msgs seem to disappear. A fact of life for the time being, I’m afraid.

John Ottman is on the film. I imagine that whatever comes to Danny Elfman first trickles down to other composers once he passes.

Fall Out Boy and Panic! At The Disco? Hmn. Maybe some “real” emo-bands like Moneen or Taking Back Sunday could have been approached… Then I’d be happy.
Hopefully this’ll ring up some more royalties for Elfman though!

No, you can only buy off iTunes sites that sell to your country of origin or hold a shipping/billing address.

It’s available on Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk (used). Unfortunately it is not available in the Norwegian iTunes site.
