You might also try Marc Shaiman’s THE ADDAMS FAMILY scores (although the first album is out-of-print).

Ryan KeaveneyKeymasterI may have to end up doing that… Only problem is that I have to recover my system first to get to my files, and I can’t recover until I figure out what my administrator password is… Despite the fact that I never logged in as an administrator or set a password!

The Hollywood Studio Symphony is a moniker used as part of a re-use fees deal with record labels. If a soundtrack album credits all members of a particular L.A. session orchestra, the union cuts the label a deal on re-use fees (meaning more music on the album).
The Hollywood Studio Symphony is not a traditional symphony orchestra in that the same members are not used every time. Each film score is generally performed by a pool of musicians who are contracted on a per score basis.

Ryan KeaveneyKeymasterIt makes sense. In fact, I think this is right down Schifrin’s alley. We need more music from elders like him.

Ryan KeaveneyKeymasterThe first clip is from Independence Day by David Arnold. It segues into something, but I don’t know what that is… Sounds like a bit of APES comes in at the very end.
