MINORITY REPORT is one of my all time favorite John Williams scores!

Yeah. I’ve bought a few things from Mondo. They go pretty fast. I have the JURASSIC PARK vinyl and THE BIRDS poster they did recently. I’ve tried for other things in the past, they can go within a matter of seconds. You have to be lucky and near a computer on Thursdays.

The Joker and Harley went first within like 4 minutes I think. Then Clayface. ManBat sold out after about 8 or 9 minutes. That’s a huge window for them, maybe they had more of that one??

They had a Mr. Freeze at ComicCon I believe. I don’t know why they didn’t sell that one.. I wanted him the most. Maybe next week??

Aaaaaand… they’re all gone. I picked up a Harley Quinn. Pretty stoked!

Yah… Speaking of DOLORES… The book is super cool. Written as a giant monologue. Definitely worth a read. Really crazy different from the movie but I still love both.

Haven’t read FIFTY SHADES and I don’t plan to.

Also, the vinyls go on sale at some point today. Could be in a couple minutes, could be in a few hours.

    Did someone already post this?

Kinda fucks over LaLaLand a little bit, but WaterTower Music released a shit-ton of the BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES music in six volumes digitally. It’s on iTunes right now.

Sounds like Ty Burrell is channeling his best Kelsey Grammer impression.

I’m glad you like it! Maybe I’ll give it another listen without the film. :)

    Got a screening last night.

The score was pretty standard. Nothing too special here for me. A really good score, not a great one.

Very charming film. Very fun for Hitchcock lovers wich I’m sure all of you are…

I’ll probably download the score on iTunes.

    Just saw the film!

Small score, very minimalist in approach and instrumentation… Just guitars, bass and drums with a little bit of Elfman vocals here and there. Definitely effective! Worked very well!

The movie was fantastic! Easily one of my favorites of the year! Might get Jennifer Lawrence and Oscar nomination, maybe a win???

    Who knows.

    GO SEE IT!

I’m not sure but I think they just used Kamen’s cue from X1. Kamen was credited in the end credits for the cue “‘Death Camp’ From X-Men” or something like that.

Wow.. So much hate here! I liked X-Men: First Class.. the score was really fun. It worked well for the film.

You’re all entitled to your opinions but try to lighten up geez!

I don’t know if it’s still “In-Print” but you can find it easily. It’s on iTunes for Pete’s sake!

I agree with Thor, it’s a good representation of the score… but then again… I don’t know the score as well as Elfman’s. I’ll take a look at the tracklist to see if it’s worth any money.

I totally agree. It’s just, I feel with a new adaptation of this franchise, like you said, it may deserve a new type of score. It wouldn’t be a crime for Hollywood to reboot Spider-Man without Elfman.

    I disagree.

Sure Elfman’s music is perfect for Spider-Man… but it is NOT in anyway JAWS.

Ask someone to sing the score from JAWS: “Oh sure! Dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun…”

Ask someone to sing the score from Spider-Man… not happening.

I’m not super fond of a reboot, but I am looking at it with an open mind. Maybe it’ll be a bit more serious than Raimi’s films…

It’s gonna suck for the composer to steer clear of quoting Elfman! I’d imagine it being pretty hard.

He looks so happy when they call Rahman…
