ParticipantWell basically, you should get all his scores for the Tim Burton movies! And i mean ALL of the them! Also if you can find it, and i think you can, i liked his score for Dick Tracy! My list of Elfman CD’s include Batman, Batman Returns, Nightmare before Christmas, Pee-Wees big adventure/Back to school, Mars Attacks, Sleepy Hollow, Edward Scissorhands, Charlie and the Chocolate factory, Beetle Juice, Planet of the Apes, Big Fish, The Hulk, Spiderman, Spiderman 2, Dick Tracy, Mission:Impossible, Men in black 2, Red Dragon, and i think thats it! he score that got me into him was, of course, Batman! Welcome to the club man!

ParticipantOH MY DOG, Ive been waiting for this for soooooo long! I think im gonna cry! I always told myself to not buy the versions that were out now because special versions would come out and now, NOW my dreams have finally come true! No deleated scenes from the first two but what ever! Theres a music video for “Face to face”! Didnt know one even exsisted! I wanna watch the special features for the second two but i dont want the movies! Maybe 3, but not 4! Not at all! No commentary by Elfman which is kinda sad but there is a whole feature for his music on the first disc! I cannot wait any longer!

ParticipantThat would be sad! I cant take another long break like the one between Mars Attacks and Sleepy Hollow! It does make sense but i just dont want him to do it! Im being selfish but that would suck! But if he needs to he should!

ParticipantIts funny but i didnt get Jackson at all! And the only time i i thought about Manson was during the flashbacks when he was wearing the braces!

ParticipantNow its at #46! Is this a new record for a film score?

ParticipantI loved the movie! I think it was Elfman’s and Burton’s most emotional work to date! Even more so than Big Fish! I loved the kids and the way they reacted to each other! I read in a review that at a screening for it people gasped when Charlie found the ticket! I didnt believe it at first but when i saw it, half the audience actually, truly let out an audible gasp! That was a nice moment! I actually teared up when Charlie started dividing his birthday chocolate among the members of his family! And as to be expected, there was music in the movie that was left of the CD! When Charlie found the ticket there was music that was so nice and also not on the soundtrack! I hate that! Anyone know why they do that? Anywho my favorite Burton movie since Sleepy Hollow! My favorite Elfman score since Nightmare! The way every character was introduced, and i mean EVERY character, are among some of my favortie movie moments ever! That fat, blue Violet was beautifully creepy! I love this flick! Cant wait to see it again!

ParticipantI just looked now myself and Charlie shot up to 86! The funny thing is i dont see Batman in the top 100 anymore! Did it drop that much in one night?
