I can’t find any fault with the CHARLIE score. Yes, the songs are great, but there’s so much to the score — the amazing main title, the “River Cruise” music, the great glass elevator stuff. I love the score!
I’d like to see them needle-drop a vintage pop or lounge version of “Flight of The Bumblebee” and let Elfman write his score seperate.

The latest issue of FSM Online has a 27 minute audio podcast by the Kaplan Bros. They talk about TERMINATOR SALVATION, and then preview about 20 seconds of Elfman’s THE WOLF MAN

As if this official website music thing isn’t complicated enough, according to the official Twitter account for ALICE:

I haven’t watched THE SIMPSONS in 10 years. And yes, we get FOX in Canada. But Hulu geo-targets U.S. only.

That’s not a new trailer — it debuted at the end of October. About a week later Elfman was fired from the film!
I have it listed as ’85, but that is clearly wrong! I think the official date for FZ is ’82.
I actually just re-watched PEE-WEE on Friday night and wondered when the complete score – as recorded for the film – would be released. I beloeve that is up to Varese as they hold the album rights.

Danny recorded 1:42:25 worth of music for the film. I don’t know specifically which cues were left out of the film (I’d have to watch it again). The only cues with alternates are the opening (“Marcus’ Death” – my guess was the opening of the film was recut and Elfman’s two cues were shortened) and “Marcus Decides” (one with Fiedel’s TERMINATOR theme and one without.)
If that is Elfman then it’s from demos because I don’t believe they’ve recorded yet. Then again it might be library music…
