If you’re not following trends, how can you dub THE KINGDOM and sound-a-like Media Ventures score? Why make a comparative statement about a score at all, rather than just stating — and rightfully so — that you don’t enjoy it?
You didn’t say it didn’t sound like Elfman, you said it sounded like Remote Control. That’s flat-out wrong. That’s pretty basic stuff.

THE ROCK and PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN sound like Media Ventures. THE KINGDOM does not sound like THE ROCK nor PIRATES.

Well considering they don’t even start filming until February, 2010, a lot can happen. A little early to consider the score written and recorded
Don’t forget, Warner Bros. also released Jablonsky’s TRANSFORMERS, and that went out print in a matter of months. My guess is that Warner Bros. is not pressing massive runs of these discs and if you want one you need to act fast.
I hope that once the complete site revamp is online and humming I can revisit the board. This one has been around for a long time and is due for some retooling.
A portion of Fiedel’s TERMINATOR theme (the duh-duh-duh-da-duh) appears only once in Elfman’s score proper. It does not appear on the album. I haven’t seen the film so it’s possible it could be tracked in more than once.
Alex, that recording of the TERMINATOR theme is clearly a April Fool’s joke. It was not recorded by Danny Elfman.
I’d hoped to have them up today, but it’ll be tonight! Stay tuned. My clips are all 1 min give or take.
