So he confirmed MIIIB, The Hunger Games and new Sam Raimi film (Oz). Pretty tight spring considering that three movies will come out in May.

He did Rain Man by himself and as far as I know The Lion King pretty much zimmer-only work.

well Howard Shore (yeah I know! Howard Shore!!) write music for ‘Eclipse’ and that is horrible thing. I can take this if Elfman will sign on this vampire crap (pardon me).

well actually it was after Avril Lavigne’s song in the end credits.

The movie is horrible. You know first 30 minutes was ok.. its interesting, fun but then… blah! Burton should runaway from Disney as far as he could. Danny’s music is the only bright spot.

Good examples. Also I must say that all sci-fi movies should be provide by electronic/minimal/ambient score.

I’d not say that I heard exactly similarities between Elfman tracks for sure. Just can’t remember for now.
Buuut here comes the totally same moment between Newton Howard’s “Prologue” (Lady in the Water) and Elfman’s “A Dilemma” (Hellboy 2).
