Amazon lists a CD release for the 25th of September.
ddddeeeeParticipantRaimi said “there’s a song or two” at comic con.
ddddeeeeParticipantAmazing trailer.
ddddeeeeParticipantI agree, but I’ve always found them reliable for scoring assignments. Wikipedia was the first to remove Elfman for The Hunger Games.
ddddeeeeParticipantStunning new poster.
ddddeeeeParticipantProbably one of the ‘bits and bobs’ Elfman was talking about, I guess he’ll write a handful of cues.
ddddeeeeParticipantIt’s Elfman animation day, trailer #2.
ddddeeeeParticipantddddeeeeParticipantddddeeeeParticipantHa, I can hear Elfman’s theme for Peter.
ddddeeeeParticipantI never had much hope anyway. Blue Sky is certainly no Pixar and is more concerned with latching onto whatever is currently popular than making a good movie.
Powell obviously finds something inspiring in these movies so hopefully Elfman does too. Their animation is always top-notch so I guess that’s something.
ddddeeeeParticipantThe stickied thread is locked?
Anyway, the movie is now called ‘Epic’ and the likes of Beyonce, Colin Farell, Josh Hutcherson, Steven Tyler and Johnny Knoxville are voice actors.
ddddeeeeParticipantThe score charted at no.35 on the starpulse album charts. Whatever that is.

ddddeeeeParticipantThe movie is so much better than the second. The score is given a really great mix.
ddddeeeeParticipantSaw the film again. Noticed that the music when Vicki first sees Josette in Collinwood and when Angelique visits the construction site and then goes to Collinwood are not on album.
ddddeeeeParticipantK theme galore, it’s given it’s longest workout yet in ‘Mission Accomplished’ and what I’m assuming is a theme for Boris, the villain.
The movie is getting surprisingly good reviews too. And Sonnenfeld “can’t wait” to do a forth.
ddddeeeeParticipantThe main titles are on Youtube.
ddddeeeeParticipantVicki Enters Collinwood is very different in the film.
ddddeeeeParticipantI thought the movie was a blast. Surprisingly little score though, and a lot of songs. Good songs admittedly.
I left at the start of the credits but the last three tracks didn’t play in the movie.
ddddeeeeParticipantddddeeeeParticipantI’m glad to hear that. It’s getting torn apart at the moment.
ddddeeeeParticipantElfman was just on radio and they played a chunk of the score. The Prologue is really something.
EDIT: Here it is. http://www.eastvillageradio.com/shows/nowplaying.aspx?contentid=1284&showid=245374
ddddeeeeParticipantddddeeeeParticipantClip from a chase scene in the movie, features Elfman’s score.
