Saw the film again. Noticed that the music when Vicki first sees Josette in Collinwood and when Angelique visits the construction site and then goes to Collinwood are not on album.
K theme galore, it’s given it’s longest workout yet in ‘Mission Accomplished’ and what I’m assuming is a theme for Boris, the villain.
The movie is getting surprisingly good reviews too. And Sonnenfeld “can’t wait” to do a forth.
I thought the movie was a blast. Surprisingly little score though, and a lot of songs. Good songs admittedly.
I left at the start of the credits but the last three tracks didn’t play in the movie.
Elfman was just on radio and they played a chunk of the score. The Prologue is really something.

Amazon.com lists the score for release on the 29th of May.
Danny is listed as the only artist so maybe they’ll have a score and a song album like with the first movie.
Apparently the prologue in the movie lasts over 8 minutes, should make up for the lack of main title cue.

21. We Will End You!I had no idea Gary Ross was like that. Looks like Elfman didn’t leave because of ‘scheduling conflicts’ after all.
I’m more annoyed that it took the cool artwork with J and the two K’s. We’re going to be stuck with that headache-inducing first poster.
It’s fine. But I feel that it should have been a lot more. The movie also features tons of droning, which I was relieved to hear did not come from Howard.
I know you’re all super excited for Pitbull’s song, so wait no more.

Loved the movie. However, JNH’s score was poor and added crap all to the movie apart from a few select scenes. There was also a lot of droning and the most important parts of the movie are unscored.
Doesn’t seem like Elfman would have had a lot to do so I feel a lot better that he pulled out. But it still would have been nice to see Elfman score another mammoth hit, since THG is breaking all sorts of box office records this weekend.
