Eric this was totally ON topic. Thank you for sharing your music. The song was great (shades of JIMMY CALICUTT) and I really liked your version of the HALLOWEEN theme.

There doesn’t seem that there are any melodic ideas linking the trailer music to PETER PAN though the style sounds very much like James Newton Howard. A mystery!

There isn’t a site like that. Elfman doesn’t own his music, the studios do.
Check iTunes. CHARLIE is available there.

There may not be info on their site yet, but the director of the Symphony emailed me to tell me that his orchestra had the rights to perform SERENADA. I guess it’s on the docket, but no mention on their site as of yet.

I saw the film again yesterday and noticed the main titles were mixed differently. The first appearance of the choir for Tim Burton’s credit was mixed way down. In fact, the choir was mixed down throughout the entire sequence, notably when the robots are wrapping the bars.
I also picked up on the family theme, which I didn’t hear before (it’s that JNH-like string and tinkling piano idea).

Wow… BATMAN and BATMAN RETURNS… With BATMAN AND ROBIN mixed in for a reminder how the franchise went to hell in a handbasket!
I guess Warners plans to release BATMAN BEGINS in time for Christmas, with the original Batman pix running a little awareness amping program.

I think he’s confusing this as a remake of WILLY WONKA AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY, not a new movie adaptation of the book CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY. Why would they carryover the insipid songs?

No problem. Myspace is interesting. They suck gigabytes of data transfer from Cinemusic.net each month with people hotlinking to files on their profiles.

Sorry, I didn’t have time to continue. I was going post day three but was disappointed to see everyone creaming their pants trying to illegally download the CHARLIE album. Everyone should be ashamed. If I see one more post why or where their post went I’m going to ban them for good. I’m seriously pissed off.
