In france there was a lot of youngs adults : 20 30 years old, but a few kids. There was a lot of burton’s fan.

the main title is amazing. Probably one of elfman’s best ! So….mad and boingo…and it’s a bit scary… my mother hate this music! lol

When I think about the film, I find there is a Pee Wee part in the film…I don’t know why. May Be because of this crasy world !

when you’re the dvd menu (disc 2), push the left button of your remote control : you’ll see a skeleton head. And push “Ok”. There are 2 video clip !
(sorry for my bad english…)For my part, I find that when a director asks to his composer an “elfmanish score” , it’s a honour. The composer does honour to Danny Elfman, no ? And the Efman fans know that it looks like Elfman’s music.
The Elfman style inspires the others composers, like Hermann or Nino Rota did for Elfman.Yes I thought it when I saw the film the last year. At the begining I really thought Danny composed the score, specially when the little boy meets his mother at the end ( you see ?). Anyway the comoser did a great work. The film is wonderful. Really.

I read in a french magazine there were troubles during Spiderman 2 , betwen Elfman and Sony( I’m not sure). In this article, Elfman was so disappointed by Sony and his management because, others composers worked on SP2 after Danny Finished hi score.
In the interview, I could feel he didn’t work again in a big production like Spider, even Raimi is his friend., because he wasn’t completely free.I can tell you, I saw the film in november, and I thought danny made the music. I tfind there is danny’s influence in the score. Specially during the sad moments. It’s perfectly because there is a kind of magic in this film. Great film, very funny and somtimes sad. The kids are great !
Critics prefer composers “à la John Williams”. Elfman ‘s scores are a different sound.And, Danny is too excentric and different : he was singer in a band, he never really learned music…And lot of people in cinema’s world are jalous.
l love danny’s make up in Insanity. So weird…
