    While John Ottman may be a cool guy I must say a lot of the music he writes could be written by just about anyone with access to a real orchestra and expensive equiptment. :)

    I’m happy he’s doing Charlottes Web and not Spiderman. Just have my fingers crossed that Charlottes Web turns out to sound like Black Beauty or Sommersby.

    To me Edward Scissorhands is the greatest score ever written. :) Don’t be embarassed that it made you cry, I think it does that to a lot of people, myself included.

    Howard is ok but hes no match for other sample users. None of the big Hollywood composers seem to be so great at using samples. Symphony of Voices is ancient and isnt it only available in Akai format? East West just released a choir library which will sing whatever you type into it but it needs a whole computer to itself just to run and it isn’t all that impressive. The boys choir in Symphony of Voices is really nice and I believe when Danny had recorded the boys choir for Good Will Hunting he actually used Symphony of Voices instead of the real choir because it sounded better. I know Danny owns EWQLSO orchestra samples but I don’t know if he uses it at all or with other libraries. Oh and if youve been trading any samples thats illegal. :D

    JS is a member of another site that I am a member of and his favourite composer by far is Elliot Goldenthal, so it’s not surprising that he has that as his first choice…

    Ok so it says that Horner has ripped off Elfman but where is the part where Horner disses Elfman?
