ParticipantI’m glad Shore got rejected. Really liking this Narnia score. Gregson Williams is one talented guy.

ParticipantI can’t wait for the Charlottes Web score. Not very excited about Meet the Robinsons. Might be too goofy and happy sounding. Charlottes Web should have some sadness and sadness = good.

ParticipantDid they sound fake or something??? lol.

ParticipantThat’s if you actually get in. I would imagine you need to know someone on the inside there. Some guy who shows up outside the studios with bad english skills might not get in.

ParticipantI’d say The Village probably had a better score than Corpse Bride….

ParticipantThis guy is Elliot from Kazhakstan who really likes Goldenthal more than Elfman right? Elliot it is illegal to d/l Vienna although I doubt that would stop you. I paid almost three thousand canadian for my Vienna samples! Are you really going to travel from Kazhakstan to Burbank just so you may or may not be allowed in to a studio to hand copy down some sheet music?? I’ve got quite a bit of sheet music of cues from the first Batman for full orchestra but can’t give any of it away… nanner nanner nana.

ParticipantLucky that all the people at JWFan didn’t notice this otherwise Danny wouldn’t have won.

ParticipantI don’t think FSM is too friendly to Elfman fans. It seems more for old people who mostly only like music from the past.

ParticipantAwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww I bought both Batman and Batman Returns on dvd mostly for these Elfman features and here they are for free!

ParticipantNOOOOOOOO I wanted Debney to do Ghostrider…
I don’t care about SM3. I’d rather new stuff from Danny. I’m glad he’s not doing it.

ParticipantIve got my Itunes organized by artist so I have a huge chunk of hundreds of Elfman cues and I just randomly click on any one. Too lazy to make playlists.

ParticipantI never live near anything interesting.

ParticipantI don’t think that’s legal.

ParticipantSpeaking of Patrick Doyles new Potter score does anyone else think his score is kinda bland and boring?
chocothrax
ParticipantI’ll get it if it actually has something interesting in those 7 minutes. I certainly won’t buy it to watch that snoozefest of a film. I really tried to like that movie but it was no use.

ParticipantWhy do you say that? People that have taken the course say he’s a great guy… I’m sure Scott has had enough of the stress of helping on a film score. I believe in his course he even talks about certain energy boosting things to take to keep you up 20 hours a day.

ParticipantI actually hate saxophones yet the only time i’ve ever not disliked them is in NBC.

ParticipantWell Steven Scott Smalley doesn’t have it all that bad. He makes a lot of money from these courses and I think he likes teaching aspiring composers. While Danny has fame and lots of money he also has an incredibly hard and stressful job. Although Danny does have Fonda….
