Apparently the prologue in the movie lasts over 8 minutes, should make up for the lack of main title cue.

21. We Will End You!ddddeeeeParticipantI had no idea Gary Ross was like that. Looks like Elfman didn’t leave because of ‘scheduling conflicts’ after all.
ddddeeeeParticipantddddeeeeParticipantI’m more annoyed that it took the cool artwork with J and the two K’s. We’re going to be stuck with that headache-inducing first poster.
ddddeeeeParticipantIt’s fine. But I feel that it should have been a lot more. The movie also features tons of droning, which I was relieved to hear did not come from Howard.
ddddeeeeParticipantI know you’re all super excited for Pitbull’s song, so wait no more.

ddddeeeeParticipantPitbull is doing the theme song this time.
ddddeeeeParticipantWow.
ddddeeeeParticipantLoved the movie. However, JNH’s score was poor and added crap all to the movie apart from a few select scenes. There was also a lot of droning and the most important parts of the movie are unscored.
Doesn’t seem like Elfman would have had a lot to do so I feel a lot better that he pulled out. But it still would have been nice to see Elfman score another mammoth hit, since THG is breaking all sorts of box office records this weekend.
ddddeeeeParticipantAccording to Amazon the score will be released on the 8th of May,
ddddeeeeParticipantI’ve seen the trailer in LQ, the HQ debuts tonight. And WB are marketing it as a comedy. There looks to be a fair bit of gothic melodrama in the 1700’s but the rest seems to be played for laughs. I’m sure it’s not entirely indicative of the whole movie but it definitely seems more Addams Family than Sleepy Hollow.
ddddeeeeParticipantExciting.
Trailer tomorrow.
ddddeeeeParticipantNew trailer.
ddddeeeeParticipantTrailer. Uses CATCF score.

ddddeeeeParticipantJust saw this tweet
andylondonbrass London Brass
Here at air studios working on Danny Elfman score. Very dark sounds. All contra this and that Trumpets going out of fashion!ddddeeeeParticipantAbsolutely brilliant poster.

ddddeeeeParticipantDoes anyone have any info about the recording of the score? I heard it’s being done in London.
ddddeeeeParticipantCirque are giving a “unique and exclusive” performance at the Oscars and Elfman will write the music.
ddddeeeeParticipantAnd here are the samples.

Hopefully there’s another LLL Elfman release this year. They’re churning these out quick.
ddddeeeeParticipantRecording today?
ddddeeeeParticipantddddeeeeParticipantHmm. The first Ice Age was very good but Robots was not. Sounds like there’s a good score in there regardless though.
ddddeeeeParticipantYou’ll be happy then, because Deadline is reporting that Burton is definitely directing.
ddddeeeeParticipantIt’s MV himself apparently. I thought the 90’s lush, romantic score they were talking about was going to be Sommersby though.
