ParticipantThose instruments sound like real live played instruments to me.
Mr. Dantz
ParticipantHe should still do a solo rock album, I agree.
I would kill for a perfected studio version of “Water”. KILL, I tell you!!
Mr. Dantz
ParticipantIf I’m not mistaken, there’s a picture of Elfman in his studio with a Ren and Stimpy t-shirt on. There isn’t much.
Mr. Dantz
ParticipantI was wondering when you were going to post your stuff.
DAYAMN, Nin Cherry, those are some awesome tracks!!!
Beautiful, beautiful music.
Mr. Dantz
ParticipantThey’ll do the same exact thing once Revenge of the Sith comes out on DVD, you know. Then you’ll have to buy it again.
Mr. Dantz
ParticipantTHANK YOU!
It sounds like a bunch of his styles – Mars Attacks, Sleepy Hollow, The Hulk, Spiderman, Planet of the Apes, and a tad bit of Novocaine.
Mr. Dantz
ParticipantHey, would you mind puting up an mp3 so we can hear it?
Mr. Dantz
ParticipantWell, I really think you should do your homework and find some stuff out for yourself. You are obviously very new to this, so you shouldn’t get in a hurry and rush your decisions. I don’t know what kind of computer you’ve got, either, so I don’t know how well this stuff will handle on your machine. Also, you need a soundCARD that supports midi in/out and a keyboard that has a midi in/out option as well, not a soundFONT (SoundFONTS are samples for the SoundBlaster Live soundcard). This way, you can play your samples (EWQLSO) on your machine through your keyboard. You use your sequencer to record and manipulate the midi notes you play through the keyboard …
Just hear me out and do some serious research before you start to buy anything. http://www.soniccontrol.com <- this is a good place to find stuff out about digital recording. There are many sites out there with information like this, so look for them!
Mr. Dantz
ParticipantDo you have a sequencer yet? Do you plan on using a keyboard to play the samples into the sequencer? These the first things you should consider. If you plan on using a keyboard, you’ll need a soundcard that supports midi in/out, and a keyboard that supports midi in/out (Check out the “Echo” brand midi soundcards. I’ve got the “Mia Midi” and it’s great, and pretty inexpensive, too). Also, you’re going to need a sequencer, there’s no doubt about that, so you should do some research on sequencers first and decide which one you want. I suggest Cakewalk Sonar (the one I use), Logic, or Cubase. EWQLSO will plug in to any sequencer that supports VSTi or DXi plugins, so there’s really almost no worry about that.
Mr. Dantz
ParticipantLike … No offense, but … like … whateverrr.
Mr. Dantz
ParticipantThey’re not worth your time, only your laugh.
Mr. Dantz
ParticipantNah, doesn’t work for me, either. I don’t notice any change, actually, when I change my settings.
Mr. Dantz
ParticipantZimmer AND James Newton Howard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mr. Dantz
ParticipantThat’s been confirmed for some time, I think.
Have you checked out the messages under the article? There are some very ignorant remarks by some very stupid and ignorant people. Check it out!
Mr. Dantz
ParticipantI’m going to be Danny Elfman this year. EVERYONE will recognize me!
Mr. Dantz
ParticipantYou’ve got to copy and past all of the address posted. Obviously, not all of it was turned into a clickable link.
Mr. Dantz
ParticipantHuh, I wonder what they’re going to make next.
Mr. Dantz
ParticipantIt will be good to hear a different interpretation on a Batman theme, especially from one of my favorites, James Newton Howard. I thought David Julyan was going to compose the score, though.
Mr. Dantz
ParticipantYeah, well, it clearly lists a bunch of stuff by Danny Elfman at the end credits of the movie. I didn’t actually see the movie, I only caught the end credits and the name caught my eye.
Mr. Dantz
ParticipantNah, you don’t come off as mannish. That’s just what I thought, don’t know why.
Mr. Dantz
ParticipantHey, do you have any sort of work you can show us?
Mr. Dantz
ParticipantKatie?! Hah, I thought you were a guy this whole time!
Mr. Dantz
ParticipantRyan, the font is so much better.
Mr. Dantz
ParticipantWell, it’s a plugin for your sequencer. If you’ve got, say, Sonar, you just attach the plugin to a audio track, and you’re set! The audio track acts as the master sampler (which, in this case, is EWQLSO) for the midi tracks you set up, afterwards. It’s really not all that complicated.
Mr. Dantz
ParticipantHah! This is totally 100% better already!
