KeymasterWhere’s the theme?
Ryan Keaveney
KeymasterIt’s likely that SWEENEY is featured because it was Burton’s most recent film and still fresh in the minds of the mainstream buyers that these kinds of releases are geared towards.

KeymasterCould be interesting, unless it’s “Miley Cyrus in GOOSEBUMPS”.

KeymasterSome people are more willing and well, more desperate to please than others. It all depends on where you are on the composer food chain. The higher up you are, the less headaches you want or need. Somewhere around the middle, you’ve got a group of composers willing to do anything to get to that next level.

KeymasterThat’s Sheffer’s cue.

KeymasterEr, try the iTunes link. There’s samples from every track.

KeymasterThanks, guys, you’re my favorite website visitors

Lucius, haven’t seen you on AIM. Better get there speed-y.

KeymasterThe disc is due May 6th, but there have been a few times in the past where Varese has put albums on iTunes a week early. Let’s hope SOP is one of ’em! That’d make the iTunes date April 29th… Which just happens to be my birthday!

KeymasterHA, you know I was listening to Elfman on shuffle the other day and PSYCHO came on and I wondered about what ever happened to him and Van Sant!

KeymasterMy account was deleted because of two videos: the music featurette from CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY was removed by request from Warner Bros. and a clip from THE 40-YEAR-OLD VIRGIN, the first clip I uploaded to YouTube as a test (!!) was removed by request from Universal Pictures. At that point YouTube silently deleted my entire account. I only discovered this later on while attempting to log in to YouTube. They did not send me any final warning about my account being deleted. I will have to track down all the videos or re-encode them from the DVDs. This is all part of the updates coming soon.

KeymasterInteresting, though not something I could put in a playlist with Dashboard Confessional!

KeymasterOK, if it comes out for DS I’ll get it.

KeymasterIt makes no sense to score the middle of BEGINS and DARK KNIGHT with Elfman’s sound.
Ryan Keaveney
KeymasterWas Howard Shore’s score for KING KONG rejected by none other than Peter Jackson?
Ryan Keaveney
KeymasterOK, since 1996, what Elfman soundtracks DO you have?

Ryan Keaveney
KeymasterI’d love to see the cut footage as DARKMAN is one of my favorites.
Ryan Keaveney
KeymasterYes, for Elfman and NIGHTMARE completists only!
Ryan Keaveney
KeymasterI just want Danny to dominate the box office

KeymasterI think somebody could do a really good job cutting together some of Elfman’s BATMAN music to this trailer, but this video just lays the audio right over without much attention to what’s going on onscreen.

KeymasterI believe WANTED is already completed (it was supposed to be released around Christmas but Universal delayed its release). HELLBOY 2 has been in post-production since December, so it’s quite possible. I can dream

KeymasterI loved the film – every second. And I can’t see how expanding the pre-prison sequence would have improved the film. The journey from obsessed Barker to murderous Todd is the story’s most interesting part.
Ryan Keaveney
KeymasterI haven’t seen the movie but will keep my eyes and ears peeled if I ever do. Thanks!
Ryan Keaveney
KeymasterYes!
