Wow, very nice. That music is spooky yet calming. I think it would be great if you wrote music for M. Night Shyamalan’s next movie, Life of Pi. For those who haven’t read the novel, it’s about an Indian boy who is stranded in a lifeboat in the middle of the Pacific Ocean with a tiger onboard. Move over, James Newton Howard!

Yeah, he does editing too, but he’s nt the only one to pull it off. Robert Rodriguez does nearly everything on his films. Ottman actually scored and directed “Urban Legends: Final Cut.” He’s a talented guy.

I’ve heard clips as well, and I’m really looking forward to hearing the complete score once I see the movie. It all sounds good.

The sound quality is very nice. It’s good to hear it in it’s entirety with no chops to other parts. It definitely has elements from Spider-Man, Hulk, and Edward Scissorhands within it. Overall, it’s a really fun and haunting score that should hold us over until Charlie and Coprse Bride come out.

Now now, this isn’t really what I would call a Batman film. Basically, it’s an arthouse film with a really big budget and a superhero costume. Anyway, if there is any good action in the movie, Zimmer will have it covered. Everything else will be Howard’s. At least we can all rest comfortably with the fact that Danny’s Batman score will live forever.

We…we can swear here? I never realized that. Holy shit! heheheheheheheh. I think that’ll be my only swear, I don’t like swearing much. But nobody censor for me, it doesn’t offend me.

That reminds me. I was looking through a Halloween edition of a Johnson Smith “Things You Never Knew Existed” catalog and came across Jack and Sally costumes. The Jack one said “Jack Skellington,” and the Sally one said “SALLY SKELLINGTON”!!! Sally has not yet married Jack, has she? Silly catalog…

Anyway, thanks for the suggestion, PHIL. I like the idea of tubing for the tentacles and foam for the claws, but I’d rather have the coat and hat and glasses without the tentacles than fresh outta-hospital Doc Ock. I’ve also thought about these things for Family Guy: either making a Stewie Griffin mask and wearing red overalls over a yellow shirt; or getting a white polo shirt, brown corduroys, a belt with a big shiny buckle, and a set of glasses to be Peter Griffin.

But I don’t wanna make this all about me. I’d like to hear what everyone else plans on doing for Halloween.

Go to countingdown.com and read their story on it. They comment on how nobody can beat Danny’s Batman score :D

Ummmm…..No, I don’t hear it. A short blast of chorus, if anything, but I cannot “clearly” hear a man’s scream.

How about avatars? Eh? Make a library of different little Elfman icons and movie icons for us to choose. That would be nice. Also, being able to see all of the messages in a thread at once. We’d all like that. I think.

I selected options in my Control Center but they just keep resetting themselves. I will miss the old forum, but the Messaging feature is pretty nice. I’ll get used to this as long as we will be able to view the forums as flat, like the good ole days.
