ParticipantI second that comment, Spider-fan! Those 2 are a perfect pairing, second of course, to Burton/Eflman!

ParticipantI like it just fine! I especially like the theme that plays everytime Flattop and Itchy show up! So sinister and gangster-y!

ParticipantSo does that mean you don’t like Tarantino?

ParticipantWas all of this music in the movie? And if so why was only half of it on the commercial release? So not fair! Damn I want a copy of this. I actually really liked the score although apparently not many of the rest of you did.

ParticipantBut that was in 90 and i’m sure it wasn’t a breeze. He probably just realized 17 years later that it’s probably better to use more orchectrators in order to make things flow better. Make better use of time. I bet he would’ve wished that he had used 4 orchestrators back then.

ParticipantWait a tic! Is the Spiderman 3 score going to get a release?

ParticipantAll this talk about POTENTIALLY great themes by Elfman is seriously making me sad.

ParticipantThat was my question also. Why are you selling all of those great films?

ParticipantTO THE WINDMILL!!!! Geezus what a prick! Did Elfman bully this guy as a kid or something? He writes like a man scorned!

ParticipantAwsome story! You actually got in in february huh. I was one of the unlucky ones standing outside in the rain on valentines day looking at Danny and Tim from 30 feet away. Good times, good times

ParticipantYou are so right! Were about due for a good adventure score and this seems like very adventurous material. We’ve had potential for some recently like Pirates but Zimmer and his boys F’ed that up pretty bad. I was just watching part 2 and I swear in one scene he used a little casio keyboard to score it. I believe were in for some great Elfman when Robinson comes out.

ParticipantI was just wondering the same thing. I was suprised about how much NMBC you hear in this as well. I also hear a lotta things I havent heard in his scores for a good long while. Xylophones for one. Man did I miss those. It’s just very pleasant listening to this score. It’s gotta be altogether the prettiest score he’s ever done. Very pleasant. Makes you want to sit back and relax and just listen to it without interuption.

ParticipantHahaha! You beat me to it! I was just about to write about it. I come home from school and turn on the TV and there it is! Vintage Elfman and Burton. I went nutz! That was TOTALLY unexpected.

ParticipantGetting back to the music for a sec I can’t WAIT to hear something from this.
