Okay, got it. Fandango says Friday April 4th. Thanks. It’s a shame the score will not accompany the theatrical release.
Ahh, such a breath of fresh air! This album is a delightful departure from all of the trendy “epic” trailer style scores droning on and on! It reminds me of Flubber’s playfulness. It’s also great to finally hear some Egyptian Elfman. Very pleased…I love it!
Is the award for “People’s Choice: Artist” or “People’s Choice: Album”? As in should we all vote for Oz collectively or will every vote, no matter what album, count?

“…once again I’ve gotta go back, that’s my job for the next couple months is I’ve got to sift through all those scores and create some suites, because I’ve got to figure out what we’re going to play.
This time I’m going to go even deeper, because on the records I just had to listen to everything and re-organise tracks and sometimes take a few mixes or something, but here I’m going to open up the original scores and go back and reconstruct pieces and/or elaborate on them. So it’s really going back! I’m going to be potentially creating suites for Pee Wee and Batman and Beetlejuice that probably don’t exist…”
Yes this is very Pleasant. Question, why would Focus Features put all of the out takes from “the turn around” on the FYC site? Don’t get me wrong, I love it, just don’t think most people do.
