ParticipantYeah loads of sites have Elfman listed but not a single one is reputable. I guess we’ll see. Elfman said he liked O’Russell and O’Russell did say he thought Elfman’s score was perfect.

ParticipantThere’s a lot of great music missing from the album. Peter climbing the wall and jumping across the buildings, Spidey saving the dumb kid at the parade, Spidey and Goblin’s second fight and a lot of The Final Confrontation being glaring omissions. Hope it eventually gets expanded.

ParticipantThe Blu-Ray feature is great, over 7 minutes long and lots of info and footage of the orchestra.

ParticipantI love that theme too, one of his best ever I think.

ParticipantFilm is fun. Elfman’s music really shines in it, loads of moments when everything is dialled down and there’s only the score.

ParticipantJust got the album, no linear notes just pictures and a list of performers. Seems like the largest orchestra Elfman has used for a while.

ParticipantSomeone’s uploaded it to youtube if you can’t wait until the CD release.

One of the main themes sounds a lot like the Witches’ theme from Oz.

ParticipantAnyone seen the movie? I thought it was pretty good, I liked how ‘non-showy’ everything was. The only piece of score not on the album, I think, is the 15 or so seconds of ‘Turn Around’ that plays when Steve is driving.

ParticipantAccording to FSM Elfman is still scoring this.

ParticipantSoundtrack announcements are coming later and later these days huh?
