Can’t wait to play the game with this. It’ll make the Batmobile sections of the game more tolerable.
Well they announced that the movie is going to be released next March. So hopefully they’ll announce Danny is scoring it soon, right? Riiiight? Please?! (Dammit Danny, you HAVE to score this!)
Looks like he’s just doing the theme. Funny how Danny never wants to fully commit to a full score for his brother. (accept for Forbidden Zone, of course.)
Oh man, I read that script; it’s really good. Lots of interesting and dark elements to it. Elfman would be great a great addition. Fingers crossed.
I just played it last night too and noticed it. It was an interesting ‘cover’ of the cue. Don’t worry, DannyBiker the clown version of the mission is a lot easier than the alien one.

Talked to the music supervisor for that trailer and except for the next to last music cue (which was “Iron” by Windkid) a lot of the music from the trailer is from Elfman’s score.

I’ve only been through this score once, but other than ‘Mission Accomplished’, the other standout track for me has got to be ‘Time Jump’. (spoiler?

Oh man, I am loving what I’m hearing so far. Sleepy Hollow, The Wolfman, The Frighteners, and The Jar all rolled into one. I was a little worried with the music in the trailer that it was gonna be all campy, Brady Bunch stuff, but hearing the score, I see Danny has nailed the tone was hoping for. I’m sure the movie will still be funny in a ‘Beetlejuice’ way, and I’m totally fine with that. Can’t wait to see the movie now, and of course get the full score, and not just these 90 sec. clips.

I wouldn’t worry too much about Danny not doing MIIIB. If you recall in 2002 Danny scored the second Men in Black and he also scored another tiny little movie called Spiderman. So, I have a feeling he can work his schedule out. Fingers crossed.

I finally saw the movie this weekend. Like Ryan I thought it was amazing and Danny’s cue worked perfectly in the movie. That’s all, just wanted to throw in my 2¢.
